Whiria te tangata. Weave the people together.
Aim: We did a experiment about spaghetti and how many you use to hold more weight.
Method:
- Two desks twenty centimetre's apart.
- Between we put a piece of spaghetti
- Then we made a small bucket out of a cup.
- We put two holes in the cup and put a piece of string through the holes.
- After we got a paper clip and made a hook to put onto the spaghetti and the string.
- Then we hooked the string and spaghetti.
- After that we put weights in until it snapped.
Results:
What the data shows? The data shows that the more spaghetti you have together is stronger. Since it is stronger it holds more weight.
How does this relate to the whakatauki? I believe that whakatauki means that we are stronger together and so were the spaghetti and that they need each other to hold more weight.

ReplyDeleteGreat blog post! The table has come out really well and shows your results nicely, but what do the numbers relate to? It would have been good to see a photo of the experiment, that might be something you think of including next time.
The best part of your blog post for me, is how you relate it back to your whakatauki. Tu Meke Noah!
